Common faults of the shot blasting machine
Common faults of the shot blasting machine include but are not limited to the following points:
Uneven distribution of shot pellets: It may be caused by the blockage of shot pellets, inconsistent sizes of shot pellets or the wear of the shot blasting wheel.
Abnormal noise of the shot blasting wheel: This may be due to poor contact between the shot blasting wheel and the shell of the shot blasting device or the damage of the bearing of the shot blasting wheel.
Electrical faults: Include loose power supply lines, internal faults in the electric control cabinet, etc.
Problems of the transmission device: Such as loose belts, broken chains, damaged gears, etc.
Blockage of the cleaning system: If the pipeline of the cleaning system is blocked or the fan malfunctions, it will affect the shot blasting effect.
Overheating problem: Long-term use may cause the equipment to overheat, which may be caused by motor overload or malfunction of the cooling system.
Nozzle blockage: Due to the accumulation of shot blasting material particles or the blockage of impurities, the jet is not smooth.
Mechanical faults: Such as damaged bearings, fallen chains, offset tracks, etc.
Problems of the protective device: Safety protective devices such as doors, protective covers, nozzles, etc. may be damaged or fail.
Unstable system pressure: It leads to uneven shot blasting jet force or the stop of jetting.
Watchdog fault: The watchdog in the control system may malfunction, resulting in the system not working properly or automatically stopping.
Motor overheating: Long-term continuous operation or excessive motor load may cause the motor to overheat.
